The section of the Prospects website entitled ‘Law enforcement and protection’ lists key roles and occupations and further contacts for the sector.
Skills for Justice is the sector skills council for the sector and brings together, and works with, the Community Justice National Training Organisation, the Custodial Care National Training Organisation and the Police Skills and Standards Organisation. The website includes current news on the sector together with skill foresight reports and workforce development plans.
Careers in UK Justice is part of the Skills for Justice website. IT links to various websites relating to careers and voluntary roles in the sector.
The ACareerChange website aims to help those who feel stuck in a career or have an ambition to work in an alternative field. The website includes a section on Science and law which includes an article on Changing Career:Police and Community Support Officers, which provides useful background for those thinking about moving into the sector.
