Council for Administration (CfA)
The CfA is the UK national body for administration skills across all industry sectors working with employers, employees and stakeholders. CfA undertakes research into current and future skills. CfA research reports are available to download from the website together with workforce development plans. The website also has information on training and qualifications for the sector.
Employers’ Organisation for Local Government (EO)
The EO website has a vast amount of information on sector with the aim of proving services. Information on diversity in the sector, pay and work conditions, recruitment and retention, workforce development is available on the website together with downloaded publications.
Prospects: UK graduate careers website
The section of the Prospects website entitled ‘Local, regional and national government sector’ details the past, present and future issues of the sector, lists key roles and occupations as well as case studies and further contacts for the sector.
