SummitSkills is the sector skills council for the building services engineering sector which represents the electrotechnical, heating, ventilating, air conditioning, refrigeration and plumbing industries. This sector skills council is in development so there is limited information on the website at present.
BPEC is the recognised training organisation for the plumbing and heating industry and some information on the sector.
Building Engineering Services Training (BEST)
This website aimed at apprentices and employers contains a lot of information on the industry, recognised qualifications together with a list of useful links.
JT Limited is a training provider for the building services industry and has information on apprenticeships and working conditions in the sector.
Engineering Services Training Trust Limited (ESTTL)
ESTTL is the National Training Organisation for the heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration sector. The website has careers and qualifications information together with recent reports on the sector.

In addition the ACareerChange website aims to help those who feel stuck in a career or have an ambition to work in an alternative field. The website includes a section entitled Manual and Skilled with an article on Changing Career: working in Construction and Engineering, and Changing Career: Electrical, Plumping and Plastering, both of which cover topics for consideration when thinking about moving into the sector.
