Regional / national dimension
Hospitality businesses are spread throughout the UK, albeit their geographical spread tends to be concentrated in the major cities.
The greatest number of hospitality establishments is in London and the South East of England, each comprising 13% of hospitality establishments to be found nationally. The South West, as a tourist region with many small businesses, has the next greatest concentration of hospitality establishments. The lowest concentration of hospitality establishments is in the North East and Merseyside.
