Table collated using Improve’s Skills Needs Analysis (volume 1) 2006 using data from the  ONS Inter-departmental Business Register (2004) and the Annual Business Inquiry (2003).   Table shows the numbers employed and the number of enterprises in the UK food and drink manufacturing and processing sector by industry.
