Editorial Comment:

Summary: This book is aimed at those working in childcare and educational settings including managers, policy makers and students entering the sector. This books studies gender in the workforce by exploring the experiences of both men and women.  It particularly focuses on the experiences of male childcare workers, their entry into the sector, together with their work and relations at work. Overall, the invisibility of male childcare workers and the case for more male workers in the sector are reflected upon.
