Research

A list of recent research publications which is intended to be a starting for those wishing for more detail on the sector.

Although there is much literature on the US military, there seems to be limited research based on the UK armed forces. Research on the UK defence sector is based on:

  • military identity
  • the role of women in the military
  • diversity of the workforce
  • occupational roles
  • health issues
