Careers information
Prospects: the UK graduate careers website
The section of the Prospects website entitled 'Armed Forces' links to four different officer ranked occupations in the sector. Each section includes a job description, salary levels, entry requirements and the types of training available.
The Royal Navy has a vast amount of careers information, details of different jobs, news and links to their dedicated careers websites for specialist occupations in the Navy.
Links to careers information website for the Army, the online careers website and a website dedicated to 13-17 year olds. There is also information on life as a soldier, plus units and deployments for soldiers.
The RAF links to the careers website but also includes current news and history, information on different activities in the RAF together with information on a range of issues relevant to the sector.
The RAF has a dedicated careers website with detailed information on different jobs available and answers questions individuals may have about employment and training in the sector.

DASA: Defence Analytical Services Agency for UK Defence Statistics
The websites contain statistics and trend data on the UK defence sector. Statistics are available on a wide range of defence activity for use within the MoD (including personnel, financial, logistics, commercial, health, equipment etc) together with forecasting to support the MoD's financial and personnel planning. DASA provides professional analytical and statistical services and advice to the Ministry of Defence, and defence-related statistics to Parliament, other Government Departments and the public.
The MoD website has the latest news about the defence sector together with careers materials, and publications on policy, expenditure and planning.
The Defence Manufacturers Association
The Defence Manufacturers Association (DMA) is the UK's defence trade association and consists of over 550 members who supply products and services to Government agencies and contractors in the Defence, Police and Public Security markets worldwide. The website has details of the different organisations in the association, data on defence exports and imports together with information on the products and services offered by the companies.
