Over the last few years, the number of environmental and land-based Apprenticeships has declined both at the Level 2 (number of starts falling by 20%) and at the Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship (starts falling by 28%).  The most popular frameworks are for the equine industry, with over 600 currently enrolled on the apprenticeship nationally and 145 learners on the advanced apprenticeship.
