As part of their consultation process, the Training and Development Agency for Schools are seeking input from those involved in career guidance to help answer the question above. If you have any thoughts, add them here...

What's the missing link?

  1. What would organisations/individuals like to see? What is missing that would be effective in bringing people into teaching?
  2. Are there any particular barriers that prevent entry into the teaching profession?
  3. Would local networks be effective to impart knowledge and understanding of teaching as a career?

If you are interested in informing the future direction of the TDA, or just have thoughts you'd be willing to share please don't hold back.  And you might also want to contribute to the discussion thread below on 'What do you think about the Training and Development Agency for Schools?
