1 The importance of transgender
I think you raise a really important point. The smaller a minority the more vulnerable it can be, and this is something that hasnt been addressed on the website to date. I had a look to see what I could find and came across relatively few resources, but what I did find was of interest.
In particular, I there was a case study where someone talks about the impact on their teaching career when they 'came out' as a transgendered person. It is very pertinent as it illustrates very graphically how important it is to take account of this dimension of disadvantage in careers work.
