NGRF - UK National Guidance Research Forum

Specific to career guidance, there's obvously the Beattie Committee Report (Implementing Inclusiveness, Realising Potential. Scottish Executive, 1999) - which has an extensive bibliography in exclusion/inclusion. This led to the establishment of inclusiveness projects across Scotland under the auspices of Careers Scotland. These projects have recently been evaluated by Segal, Quince and Wicksteed consultants (info from Careers Scotland).

The Scottish Executive have also published a range of targets/objectives in this area - their web site (above) will give more information on the National Priorities for Education and the Social Justice Targets. A visit to the Education and Enterprise, Transport and Lifelong Learning publications lists in this site would prove useful too. Finally, a visit to the Communities Scotland web site (www.communitiesscotland.gov.uk) will also give information about community learning and community learning plans.
