Sharing job search strategies
28-February-2005
permalink comments (1) forum (1) email thisFor those of you who started the course in Autumn 2004 this is the time of year when time seems to accelerate and (ideally) you start to manage the transitionary process that you will be helping clients to manage ... i.e. planning for what happens next! Applying for jobs is a skill that experience improves, but however skilful you become the realities of the labour market won't necessarily change. At this point in time the future of Connexions in England is uncertain, and delays caused by the impending election makes planning difficult in all guidance contexts. This should not discourage you from developing job application skills but may mean that pooling knowledge is even more important. So why not use this space to share experiences?
