The Website depends on your participation, so don't be inhibited – join us! Everyone is welcome to browse the Website, participate in discussions, contribution their own materials and download the materials posted. Please encourage others from your organisation to join in!

This is a place to share professional knowledge and insights to learn from one another's experiences and personal reflections. Whatever your level of experience you can be part of the process of building expert knowledge.

To ensure all feel equally welcome, in the spirit of the Website please remember:

  • The Website wants to build a lively and involving community where everyone's ideas, discussions and contributions are equally welcome.
  • It is everybody's responsibility to be aware of their language and the content of their contributions. Remember, when you make a contribution, it's a public record so don't publish anything on the site you wouldn't feel comfortable saying in public.
  • Everybody should use inclusive language and be aware that people may not mean to cause offence, so be forgiving of other people's mistakes.
  • Using ambiguous language or humour may inadvertently offend so be careful.
  • Online discussions do not convey emotions.
  • Everybody should be patient and supportive of other users.

It is essential that you:

  • Remember not to include any personal contact information (e.g. telephone, email, company) within the body of your posting.
  • Do not make unwarranted criticism, abusive or libellous comments about other people or organisations, commercial or non-commercial.
  • Are respectful of intellectual property rights, copyright and licensing agreements by citing all quotes, references and sources.
  • Do not use this Website for commercial advertising.

Please ensure that you read and abide by the Copyright Policy.

Inclusive language is language used in a non discriminatory way that shows respect and sensitivity towards other users, their ideas, preferences and importantly their gender, age, sexuality, religion, ethnicity and disability.
