Citation Policy

Pages from this website may be reproduced in paper form for educational, training, professional development and networking activities. Special permission for such uses is not required. We do, however, ask that the following statement appears on all reproductions:

This has been reproduced from the Guidance Research Forum www.guidance-research.org

One convention relating to citations for academic purposes is that the specific page url together with the date accessed should also be clearly given, in addition to the author and title. e.g.

  • Bimrose, J., (2003) Developing your research skills, http://www.guidance-research.org/EG/RIP/52NP/522NP (accessed 6/08/04)

This permission statement is limited to partial reproduction for educational purposes. Complete or systematic or large-scale reproduction, or inclusion of material in publications for sale, information sources, or for any other commercial purpose may only be done with prior written permission.

We sometimes give permission for articles and material to be electronically stored on servers other than our own - but would prefer the use of links (see below) so that: people can follow links to other articles within the site. This also allows material to be updated.

Making links

We welcome the creation of links to our pages but please note that the page must be called electronically from within guidance-research.org. This must be done in such a way that its original style and layout are left unchanged.
