Towards a European Rainbow: an example of an on-line training resource
This is an example of an online resoure developed through a project involving six countries: Finland, Czech Republic, Estonia, Denmark, Greece, Italy. It aims to help educational and vocational guidance counsellors to improve their multicultural counselling competence
The RAINBOW www-service offers a bibliography, articles, on-line resources as well as information and training materials about cultural and ethnic diversity in guidance and counselling. Additionally, there is the RAINBOW in-service training course on multicultural counselling (designed by six European countries). You can view all these materials through the link below.
The In-service multicultural training course for guidance counsellors consists of:
- the Cultural Explorer - a training seminar for those working with immigrant clients
- the Cultural Navigator - a www-link collection for guidance counsellors on intercultural communication etc
- the Cultural Communicator - Internet based distance learning course on multicultural counselling
